MCE Rolls Out Factory Training Schedule for 2008

Classes provide hands-on training for elevator professionals; now offered in California and New York

Rancho Cordova, CA (January 31, 2008)

Motion Control Engineering, the industry’s leading manufacturer of non-proprietary elevator controls, and member of the Kinetek group of companies, has released its factory training schedule for 2008.  Classes are offered at its facilities in Rancho Cordova, California and Glendale, New York, and include classroom training, one-on-one time with MCE instructors, and small group sessions.

According to Ashur Kanon, MCE President, factory training provides customers with access to important technical product support. “Our training classes are historically very well received because they provide elevator installers, adjustors, and maintenance professionals with important insight into our controllers before they actually work on them.” Customers experience a significant benefit to this approach, added Kanon. “By teaching correct techniques and methods in a simulated training environment, rather than on the job, our customers are able to lower their expenses, and increase their return on investment.”

Specific class instruction covers elevator controller functions, computer diagnostic tools, reading job prints, signal tracing, selector systems, sequence of operation problems, rotating equipment concerns, and induced and stray voltages. For added convenience, customers can register online for classes.  (http://www.mceinc.com/Support/Factory/index.html)
