MCE Announces Factory Training Schedule for 2006

Motion Control Engineering, a leading manufacturer of elevator controls based in Rancho Cordova, California, has purchased O. Thompson Company (O. Thompson) from Schindler Elevator Corporation. Terms of the agreement are undisclosed. The sale closed on September 21, 2004.

O. Thompson, located in Glendale, New York, has been serving the elevator industry for over 65 years. They offer a complete line of elevator controls as well as remote diagnostic and building management products.

Javad Rahimian, CEO of MCE, stated, "The acquisition of O. Thompson greatly enhances our presence in New York, North America's largest elevator market. MCE will now have a broader portfolio of products to cover this market."
