Frank Marchese Appointed Director, New Business Development for MCE

Long time New York City elevator professional to lead MCE’s efforts in east

Ashur Kanon, MCE President, announced the appointment, noting that Marchese brings unparalleled elevator insight to his new role. “Frank grew up in the elevator business. He has considerable knowledge and expertise, and will be a tremendous link to our contractor, consultant and building owner partners.”

Greg Houghton, MCE’s New York City/Northeast region manager noted that as MCE transitions from a controller manufacturer to a total solutions provider, Frank will provide important leadership. “Frank will lead the introduction of MCE’s new machine-roomless (MRL) solution to the region. MCE and our partners will benefit from Frank’s local knowledge, industry experience and commitment to customer service”.

Marchese added that with a full line of controllers, machines, door operators, peripherals, and now an MRL solution, MCE is well positioned to meet the needs of the New York City/Northeast elevator market. “I’m excited about the opportunity to focus my efforts on developing our business in the region, especially our machine-roomless elevator package.”

Marchese, former president of O. Thompson (acquired by MCE in 2004), was most recently operations manager for MCE/New York City.
