CMS Remote Monitoring

Windows Interactive Monitoring and Control for Elevators

CMS Central Monitoring System for Windows® is a comprehensive elevator management tool for institutions, contractors, building managers and owners with many elevators in the same building, in multiple buildings in the same city or even in different cities. CMS provides interactive monitoring and control for elevators.

Emergency conditions or events are immediately displayed on the system monitor, maintenance personnel notified via digital pager activation and a hardcopy can be printed.

CMS can be used as a data acquisition and adjustment tool and allows monitoring of selected events, emergency reports, analysis of elevator performance, as well as the retrieval of other system information form a designated central location.

  • Real-Time System Monitoring
  • Immediate Fault Notification
  • System Performance Reporting
  • Minimize Elevator Downtime

Multiple connectivity options are available.

  • Serial Cable
  • Line Drivers
  • Modem
  • Ethernet

Central Monitoring System for Windows®

Central Monitoring System represents the latest in monitoring system software technology. Embedded monitoring logic in the elevator control systems combined with state of the art PC technology provide premium performance for all MC elevator systems.

Multiple connectivity options eliminate the need for added hardware and extra wiring. All communications are directly linked to the elevator systems micro processor.

Elevator shutdowns are sent to CMS and are displayed with details. CMS uses this information to page a mechanic with the elevator system and problem that caused the shutdown.

Event Calendar

The Event Calendar report displays a listing of all events that have occurred within a specified period of time for a specific job.

This report can be customized by the user to display specific time and date ranges. The user can narrow the report display to a specific event, and individual car or floor.

A summary on the number of events in the displayed report can be calculated and displayed from the menu buttons on the report. Whatever is shown on the display is the same report that will be sent to a printer with the Print button.

System Performance

The System Performance report is a graphical representation of up to 24 hours of up and down hourly hall call averages or the number of up and down hall calls for a specific job.

This report is a combination of two different reports on the same display. A graphical representation of the average waiting time per hour during the date of the report as selected by the user and a graphical representation of the number of hall calls answered during each hour.

This report can be customized by the user to display in a chart, pie, line or many other graphs.

Hall Call Distribution

The Hall Call Distribution report displays the hour’s hall calls overview for a specific job.

This report consists of the number of hall calls answered within specified intervals for each landing and direction.

Emergency Failed Transmissions

The Emergency Transmission Errors report displays all the errors that have occurred when the elevator control system has failed to transmit emergencies.

CMS continually monitors for elevator system shutdowns, gathers report information, aids in diagnostics and displays details. The result: Reduced downtime, manageable maintenance scheduling and overall better system performance in your elevators.

The Central Monitoring System provides historical and performance reports for all M3 Group Systems. For other controllers, a limited number of reports are available (top four reports listed to the right) at all times. Reports may be customized to display the information in which you are interested. All reports may be printed.
