Updated software for your IMC-AC controller is being provided to enhance communication logic for Baldor drive diagnostic information. All IMC-AC controllers require this update. Action Install three EPROMs on two processor boards located inside the controller's swing panel. EPROM installation diagrams are enclosed. - Caution should be exercised when changing software.
Following these steps to prevent data loss and maintain proper system operation.
- Copy the machine room CRT's parameters, including each parameter screen (it is not necessary to copy parameters accessed via the keypad on the Baldor drive).
Either note parameters by hand or generate a printout.
- After all parameters have been copied, new software can be installed.
Follow the instructions on the diagram provided.
- After installation is complete, verify that all parameters match the information copied in step one.
Correct any variations and save all parameters.
Prior to running the car at contract speed operate the car on inspection and verify proper operation.
