Sales Account Manager
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for direct and indirect sales activities under the guidance of the Department Manager to achieve profitable growth and meet sales goals.
This will involve working very closely with one or more team members to ensure that all customer needs are addressed including quotes, submittals, questions and concerns in a concentrated effort to grow the business and exceed the sales targets. Customer service shall be our top priority in order to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Candidate’s job duties shall consist of:
- Proactively contacting and educating potential customers and specifiers on elevator systems.
- Utilize positioning statements when compared to competitors.
- Follow-up on past quotes, discussions and new opportunities.
- Regularly place cold calls to expand business opportunities.
- Prepare for monthly sales meetings.
- Learn to review specifications, drawings and prepare quote take offs.
- Work closely with the consultants to educate them on complete traction elevator products.
- Conduct customer field visits, attend trade shows, conferences and off-site events in order to develop customer product awareness and usage. 80% inside / 20% outside.
- Coordinate order entry requirements.
- Assist and collaborate with Project Management.
- Collaboratively prepare an annual sales and marketing strategy plan.
- Other duties as assigned.
